GreenLife Energy Solutions is a participating contractor in the South Jersey Gas Whole Home Energy Solutions Program. We’ll start by visiting your home to complete a no-cost Whole Home Energy Assessment that usually takes about an hour.
During your assessment, one of our Energy Experts will:
- Inspect key areas of your home to see where energy is being wasted
- Identify comfort issues like drafts, uneven temperatures, or moisture concerns
- Install qualifying energy-saving measures (where applicable) during the visit
- Provide a customized report with recommendations to improve comfort, safety, and efficiency
At the end of the assessment, you’ll know exactly where your home is losing energy and what improvements make the most sense for your budget.
Energy-Saving Upgrades Installed by GreenLife
Based on your assessment, GreenLife may install or recommend energy-efficient equipment such as:
- Water heater pipe insulation
- Efficient-flow showerheads
- Faucet aerators
- Smart power strips
- ENERGY STAR® certified LED bulbs
- Installation of eligible Smart Thermostats purchased through the South Jersey Gas Marketplace

During this next step, we will:
- Perform a deeper, whole-home analysis to model your potential energy savings.
- Recommend specific, tailored improvements—such as insulation, air sealing, and high-efficiency equipment.
- Show you the rebates and financing available through the South Jersey Gas Whole Home Energy Solutions Program.
You’ll receive a detailed report outlining which upgrades are recommended, estimated energy savings, and how much you can save with rebates and 0% APR On-Bill Repayment.
Rebates & 0% APR On-Bill Repayment
When you move forward with recommended improvements, you may qualify for generous rebates from the South Jersey Gas Whole Home Energy Solutions Program:
- Minimum 5% savings required:
Customer must have an estimated minimum savings of 5% based on modeled reduction of energy consumption. - Rebate structure:
- Base rebate of $2,000
- Plus $200 for each percentage point of savings above 5%
- Rebate cap: $7,500
- Total rebates cannot exceed 50% of project costs

0% APR On-Bill Repayment Through South Jersey Gas
If you’re interested in financing, the Whole Home Energy Solutions Program offers 0% APR On-Bill Repayment for qualifying home energy efficiency upgrades:
- Financing amounts from $2,500 to $25,000
- 0% APR for up to:
- 7 years for financing up to $10,000
- 10 years for financing from $10,001 to $25,000
- Income-qualified customers may be eligible for extended terms up to 10 years
- Repayment is made directly on your South Jersey Gas bill, making it simple to manage
Who Is Eligible?
You may qualify for a Home Energy Assessment through the South Jersey Gas Whole Home Energy Solutions Program if you:
- Have an active South Jersey Gas residential account
- Note: Renters must complete a landlord permission form.
- Live in a:
- Single-family home
- Townhome/condo
- Multifamily building with less than four units
- Heat your home with natural gas
